Churches Together in Ringwood and District


Churches Together in Ringwood and District (CTRD)

Churches Together in Ringwood and District is the local expression of our national ecumenical body, drawing most Christian churches together in fellowship. CTRD comprises the following churches. Each church operates individually but they come together under the auspices of this Council to share to their annual events and to support their ecumenical projects.

  1. Anglican Churches: Ringwood Parish Church (C of E); and St. John's, Poulner and St. Paul's, Bisterne; St John's, Poulner; All Saints St Leonards and St Ives
  2. Roman Catholic:Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, The Close,
  3. Methodist: Crow Hill Methodist Church; Christchurch Road Methodist Church,
  4. United Reformed Church and Methodist LEP: Trinity United Reformed Church (Methodist/URC)
  5. The Salvation Army, Christchurch Road, Ringwood
  6. Kings Church at Poulner Junior School, North Poulner Road, Ringwood
  7. The Poulner Baptist Church and the Menorah Fellowship send observers to meetings of CTRD

All these Churches are committed to the proclamation of the good news of God's love for all people as expressed in Jesus Christ. They have a concern for issues of justice and peace, believing in the transforming power of God's love in Christ in the lives of individuals and the community.
